Founded in 1977 after journalist John O’Shea was moved by the plight of street children in Kolkata, GOAL has spent 50 years responding to some of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. Today GOAL works in 18 countries, and over its history has supported communities in more than 65 — guided by a hard-won reputation as ‘first in and last out’: agile emergency responders who stay to help communities rebuild what was lost. Supporters have made every step possible. By leaving a gift in your Will, you can carry that story forward, helping GOAL be first there long into the future.
