The National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA)
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA), formerly known as the DSPCA & ISPCA, has a long and proud history of protecting animals in Ireland. Originated in 1840, the organisation has grown to become Ireland’s leading animal welfare charity, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming sick, injured, neglected, and cruelly treated animals, both domestic and wildlife.
Every year, thousands of animals suffer from cruelty, neglect, or abandonment. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, volunteers, and fosterers, the NSPCA provides food, shelter, veterinary care, and ultimately loving new homes for vulnerable animals. But this vital work cannot continue without ongoing support.
By including the NSPCA in your Will, you become part of a community of animal lovers committed to a kinder, more compassionate world. Your legacy gift—no matter the size—will help protect animals across Ireland for generations to come.
